General & Registration

The bootcamp is planned for September 27th, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (total 5 hours, including breaks).
The immersive one-day bootcamp will be held at the Ascend Esports venue.
There is a registration fee of AED 300 per attendee.
The fee includes full access to the bootcamp sessions, practical exercises using professional gear, a certificate of completion, a streaming gear checklist, and post-bootcamp perks.

Anyone can register, however below 16 should arrive with a parent or a guardian
This bootcamp is a hybrid bootcamp, if you want to join from your home or workplace – we will provide you a zoom link to attend this session!

Content & Structure

Absolutely! The bootcamp is designed for both complete beginners and semi-pro streamers looking to level up their skills.
Yes. While we cover esports streaming, a significant portion is dedicated to "Streaming for Everyone" and includes a special segment on Music-based streaming for DJs, producers and artists.

What will I learn about esports careers?

You will get a deep dive into various paths like Tournament Management and Live Streaming. The session includes both theory and a practical look at how these roles function.
The day is a mix of theory/discussion (~2.5 hours) and hands-on practical exercises (~1.5 hours). You will actively set up a stream and go live.
You will be guided by industry experts, including:
Madiha Naz: Former League of Legends Pro Player and career counselor.
Syed: Expert in Tournament Management.
A Music Producer for music-based streaming.

Perks & After the Event

After completing the bootcamp, you will get 10 hours of free access to book and use Ascend's professional streaming setups to practice your new skills.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion for the "Level Up with Ascend" bootcamp, which you can add to your portfolio/LinkedIn.
Attendees will receive a 20% discount on all of Ascend Academy's specialized courses. Details on these courses can be found here Academy Offerings.
All necessary professional streaming equipment (mics, cameras, lights, etc.) will be provided for use during the in-person bootcamp. Just bring your enthusiasm and readiness to learn! However online users may need to have the above-mentioned equipment in possession.
Due to the limited number of spots available, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations. However, you can join online via zoom call.
Absolutely! We encourage learning with friends. Groups registering together are eligible for a 5% discount - saving you AED 15 per person.
Yes, refreshments will be provided during the break to keep you energized throughout the session.
Yes! All participants will be invited to an exclusive community group where you can continue to ask questions, share progress, and network with fellow creators after the event.
Yes, a recording of the session will be made available as a Video on Demand (VOD) to all registered participants. Please note that certification is contingent on attending the live bootcamp.
The bootcamp includes dedicated time for networking and career advice. Our experts will be available to provide guidance and answer your specific questions in person.
We do not allow spectators. We welcome everyone to join the experience by registering for a spot.
